  4. Our Pledge
  5. ----------
  6. In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming environment, we as
  7. contributors and maintainers pledge to making participation in our
  8. project and our community a harassment-free experience for everyone,
  9. regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, sex
  10. characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience,
  11. education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance,
  12. race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
  13. Our Standards

  15. Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment
  16. include:
  17. - Using welcoming and inclusive language
  18. - Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
  19. - Gracefully accepting constructive criticism
  20. - Focusing on what is best for the community
  21. - Showing empathy towards other community members
  22. Examples of unacceptable behavior by participants include:
  23. - The use of sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome sexual
  24. attention or advances
  25. - Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal or political
  26. attacks
  27. - Public or private harassment
  28. - Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or
  29. electronic address, without explicit permission
  30. - Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a
  31. professional setting
  32. Our Responsibilities
  33. --------------------
  34. Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying the standards of
  35. acceptable behavior and are expected to take appropriate and fair
  36. corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable behavior.
  37. Project maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit,
  38. or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other
  39. contributions that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct, or to ban
  40. temporarily or permanently any contributor for other behaviors that they
  41. deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
  42. Scope
  43. -----
  44. This Code of Conduct applies both within project spaces and in public
  45. spaces when an individual is representing the project or its community.
  46. Examples of representing a project or community include using an
  47. official project e-mail address, posting via an official social media
  48. account, or acting as an appointed representative at an online or
  49. offline event. Representation of a project may be further defined and
  50. clarified by project maintainers.
  51. Enforcement
  52. -----------
  53. Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may
  54. be reported by contacting the project team at thach@tinyusb.org. All
  55. complaints will be reviewed and investigated and will result in a
  56. response that is deemed necessary and appropriate to the circumstances.
  57. The project team is obligated to maintain confidentiality with regard to
  58. the reporter of an incident. Further details of specific enforcement
  59. policies may be posted separately.
  60. Project maintainers who do not follow or enforce the Code of Conduct in
  61. good faith may face temporary or permanent repercussions as determined
  62. by other members of the project's leadership.
